It is planned to be an annual event. A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 8th, from 5-8pm. This event is free and open to the public.

Summer Book Sales at the Library

The Friends of the Library hold "mini" book sales at the library, from 1pm-3pm on the third Saturday of each month. The June sale will be held on Saturday, June 19th in the library garden (rain date June 26th).

Proceeds from these sales benefit library programs for children, and other library services supported by the Friends. Sales are also planned for Saturday, July 17th, and Saturday, August 21st, from 1pm-3pm.

The Friends of the Vineyard Haven Public Library is a volunteer organization that encourages public understanding of the Library's vital role in the community, supports activities for both adults and children, and provides various other volunteer services.
