At Vineyard Haven Public Library, your health is important to us. We're actively monitoring decisions and direction from state and local health officials in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are following the advice of these agencies, as well as the Center for Disease Control, so that we can respond as needed as this situation develops.
Out of consideration for our patrons who are following health guidelines to practice social distancing, the library will be cancelling some library programs, and limiting attendance at other programs to 12 people. If you or a family member are not feeling well, please stay at home and do not attend library events.
We apologize to all our patrons for any inconvenience and hope to reschedule the canceled programs in the near future.
Current event cancellations are listed below. We will update this list as additional cancellations occur.
- Tumble Time Storytime on Saturday mornings cancelled for March 2020
- Friends of the Library Monthly Meeting 10:15am Saturday March 14th has been cancelled
- The Secret Lives of Lobsters 2pm Sunday March 15th has been cancelled
- Documentary: The Queen of Ireland Tuesday March 17th has been cancelled
- Tai Chi with Derek 12pm March 17th and March 24th has been cancelled
- Tisbury Police Resident Meetings 5:30pm March 17th and March 24th have been cancelled
- Domestic Affairs Discussion Group 7pm Thursday March 19th has been cancelled
