The Vineyard Haven Library is pleased to offer a series of virtual seminars for job seekers via the Tewksbury Library. Beginning at 2:00 PM on Monday September 9th, the four-part series will cover a new topic each week, ranging from networking and emotional intelligence to how to use Linkedin and YouMap® software. This series is sponsored by the Friends of the Vineyard Haven and Tewksbury Libraries.

Job Search Help: Using LinkedIn As A Search Engine For Job Seekers

Learn how to search LinkedIn not only for jobs, but to find relevant job specs, events and similar profiles. Also discover how to search within companies on LinkedIn to find resources there. Led by Kenneth Lang, the co-founder of My Networking Central, a searchable database for networking events and speakers. He regularly facilitates job search and networking events where he discusses LinkedIn best practices. Kenneth also serves as a brand specialist for Lee Hecht Harrison, an outplacement service.
