A Summer of Drawing with Elizabeth Whelan

Following up on last year's Summer of Art, Vineyard Haven Public Library and Elizabeth Whelan are teaming up once again to fill your summer with art via Zoom. Join us every Wednesday at 11 am EST from April 21 - September 1, 2021, for our FREE series of drawing classes. Contact Anne McDonough at the library (amcdonough@clamsnet.org) to register for your Zoom access code, good all summer. You can attend any, or all, of the classes.

This year we're focusing on drawing, with an emphasis on techniques and demonstrations. There will be opportunities to draw during the class as well as projects you can do on your own. As always, there is no need to show your work! So no matter your skill level, feel comfortable taking part and trying new approaches. Topics will be addressed for 2 weeks in a row, allowing Elizabeth to go in-depth and follow-up on your questions. And there's no need to buy supplies; most techniques can be applied to all drawing media so you can draw along for the whole summer with just pencils and paper, or whatever you have on hand.

Look forward to seeing you in April!
