Access Your CLAMS Account More Easily by Creating a "Username"

This week the CLAMS library network has introduced a new feature to make it easier for patrons to use their online library accounts. Instead of using a 13-digit library card number each time you access your account, you now have the option of creating an easy-to-remember username.

To do so:
  • Log in with your barcode and PIN.
  • Go to Modify Personal Information.
  • Enter a username of your choice, and click "Submit." (Usernames may contain 6 to 25 alphanumeric characters.)
If you forget your username, you can still log in with your library barcode. Once in My Account, you can go back to Modify Personal Information to view and/or change your username.

NOTE: At this time, your library card barcode is still required to use the Virtual Catalog and CLAMS Digital Download service, and to use public computers at the Vineyard Haven Public Library.
